Baked Bananas with Mozzarella and Chilie


  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 1-2 tbs melted butter or oil, use as little as you want
  • 6 thick slices of mozzarella
  • Optional garnish:
  • Chilie sauce

Pre-heat oven to 200°CPeel the bananas, place them on a baking sheet and rub them with butter or oil. Bake the bananas for 5 minutes, then turn each one and bake for another 5 minutes or until golden on both sides. Remove them from the oven, made a horizontal slit on the middle of each banana, and stuff them with the cheese slices. Bake the bananas for another 2-3 minutes untill the cheese will melt. Serve immediately with chilie sauce.
